Congers, NY – A special event, “Stand with Alex,” is scheduled for October 17th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Red Barn Cidery, to support Alex Padilla, a 13-year-old Felix Festa Middle School student who was involved in a serious accident in New City this summer.
On July 10th, Alex was struck by a dump truck while riding his bike down Main Street. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the Padilla family with medical expenses, lost wages, and other financial needs during Alex’s recovery.
