Clarkstown South High School’s Stars and Stripes Club is currently hosting a Veterans Drive to support local veterans in need. The community is encouraged to participate by donating essential items which will greatly benefit those who have served our country.
Donations can be dropped off at the Town Hall, specifically at the Town Clerk’s office located at 10 Maple Avenue, New City. The drive will continue until Monday, April 29th, giving community members ample opportunity to contribute.
Items needed for donation include basic hygiene products such as toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrushes, and floss. Additionally, donations of shampoo, clothing, and non-perishable food items are also welcomed and greatly appreciated. These items play a critical role in supporting the dignity and well-being of our veterans.
The Stars and Stripes Club at Clarkstown South High School actively engages in initiatives that support military veterans and foster patriotism within the community. This drive is a testament to their ongoing commitment and respect for those who have served.
Let’s come together as a community to support our veterans through this thoughtful initiative. Your contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of our heroes.
