NANUET, NY – State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick reported that he has raised over $156,000 in the filing period ending January 14, 2022, setting a new record for the most money raised in a single filing period in the 38th State Senate District. The first-term Democrat also reported having over $203,000 cash on hand while headed into his first re-election year after having won with a roughly 10,000 vote margin in the 2020 election. No opponent has yet announced a challenge to Senator Reichlin-Melnick for the seat in 2022.
