
Tomkins Cove, NY โ A neighborhood dispute turned dangerous last Thursday when a woman allegedly threatened her neighbor with a large kitchen knife during a heated altercation at a Tomkins Cove apartment complex.
According to the Stony Point Police Department, officers responded to the incident around 12:45 p.m. on October 2. Upon arrival, they found two women involved in a confrontation. After conducting interviews at the scene, police determined that 42-year-old Inez Henriquez, a resident of Tomkins Cove, had threatened to stab the female complainant while brandishing a large kitchen knife.
Henriquez was arrested and charged with Menacing in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. She was taken to the police station for processing and subsequently released on an appearance ticket.
Henriquez is scheduled to appear in court on October 16, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The plaintiff is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
